Bluebell woods

we headed out early today to see the bluebells at Dockey Woods before the crowds descended, Then had breakfast at the Ashridge estate, a walk up to the top of the Bridgewater monument for the views then walked into the nearby village of Aldbury.   Found a lovely pub in Aldbury for lunch then had a steep walk back up the hill to retrieve the car.   On the way back we stopped at the Pitstone windmill but its not yet open to look inside. 
Altogether a good day out.
