Mono Monday reclaimed

These pieces of driftwood have been reclaimed from the natural world of the beach.

They are now sitting in my back garden. I like the crooked one best.

We got out in the garden this morning. Firstly I catalogued all the new alpines Callum has bought or been donated in the last couple of days. By his own admission he’s not good at remembering their names, so I’ve photographed them all with their respective labels so he can try harder!

Then we did some general maintenance, giving a good cut to some of the grasses that have become unruly over winter. Planted the cowslips and the corner low growing / trailing conifer.

Now it’s giving us some good hard steady rain which is much needed.

Myself and steveng will look at the MM entries over the coming days. Not so many this week probably with it being Easter Monday, but that’s fine.
