At the Farm
again.
This time with a new boy. Very difficult one. I managed but there were a period of time when I wasn't feeling safe with him.
Back at the farm a carer that I know told me some more things about his situation which made me feel bit better. We really don't know much about them. And sometimes it's very difficult to do our job when we are nearly "blindfolded". He gets very anxious outside from the farm and our job is to take them outside. Today we did grocery shopping. I bluntly asked from the staff member if he hears voices in his head and he said yes. That explains a lot. I also told the staff that he has a headache and pain in his jaw (he had an extensive tooth operation two weeks ago). He got the painkillers and it helped. But that was when we were back at the farm.
Tomorrow morning I'll go help Mr. E. It's quite different helping someone who's got their wits with them even if they have problems with mobility.
