Wolf Lobster Shack in the Kennebunk, Maine

We had another terrific day at the beach. The waves were bigger than I have seen them all summer. My 13 year old Granddaughter and I boogie boarded for quite a long time.
Doing all that, gave me a hunger for lobster. My husband & I went to a place we saw on a back road and picked up some lobsters, steamers (clams) and fresh corn on the cob. Yum, yum. This is the front porch of the lobster shack. It is on the lobster man's property, where they also have organic gardens. His wife and 2 daughters work in the shack and they are lovely. The lobster industry here in Maine is having some trouble with pricing, the big company's are buying from the local boats, but at very low prices. It is more profitable for the lobsterman to sell on their own. I am glad to support local business, and we will go back. Everything was delicious ;)
