We managed a walk at Port Carlisle first thing before the rain arrived.  Sadly Tess didn't meet any dogs to play with.  There were lots of walkers along the Hadrians Wall footpath to Carlisle.  It's an all day walk and no doubt most of it would have been in the rain.
