Fortress isle

Novel (and nice) not to be at work on a Monday. More hard-editing through the morning.

Friend A and I took the amphibious (duck) ferry out to Elizabeth Castle. This islet and its fortress has protected Jersey's south coast, capital and harbours through the centuries. At high tide the islet is cut off from the mainland. It's very peaceful out there.
