Acer Envy

Penny and Steve have a lilac tree in their garden. yesterday we removed the 50% already dead element and my feeling is the the remaining 50% is very close to death. Penny would like (I think) to replace it with an Acer. this afternoon Wendy and I visited the garden centre for a number of (essential) items...... And these Acers were on a deal. And look beautiful. I wait to hear what Penny thinks.
