The sky above me

Tiny Tuesday "something smooth" almost got away from me! I entirely forgot to post a reminder yesterday, what with all the grand daughter fun, but some of you were already posting tiny smoothnesses by the time I remembered.

Not an easy challenge... I tried a few things before settling on a bubble set adrift on the water by the pond filter waterfall. The smooth exterior of a bubble is almost impossible to beat - but even then I see some pollen grains sat in the bubble's surface.

Go deep enough and everything is unsmooth, being made up of energetically bouncing atoms. I don't think any of our lenses are that powerful... although you may tell me otherwise. Still, we have to take the rough with the smooth, eh.

So here is water, and air... no fire today but it is Earth Day. Used to be more popular, but I rather suspect everyone feels so battered by world events few have the energy to spare. I scattered some wildflower seeds today, in a spot of cleared earth in our burial ground. A blessing to the earth, and to those who eventually inhabit it.

I'll go through all the TT517 entries on Thursday. Big bubbles, no troubles, as they say...
