A rare day without Monday night football - the school was closed for Easter Monday. Still, it was a significant day for vicarious football as Leeds won 6-0 (six-nil) at home to Stoke in the afternoon and then Burnley's win over Sheffield United confirmed that both they and Leeds are promoted back to the Premier League. Hopefully Leeds can buck the recent trend whereby the newly promoted teams go straight back down again but that's something for another day.
Today was also the thirtieth anniversary of L's and my first date.
