Hazel

I’d not seen Hazel for ages but today was the day she’d invited me for a coffee. Here she is, showing me the balloon arrangement she had someone do for Christmas. We had a nice chat though I struggled to keep her off the topic of illness (in depth!) which she tends to revert to. We talked of families and places to eat locally and decided we’d visit one of them when we are both free.

I walked there and intended to ring Mr C to come in the car to drive me back if my knee was too bad, but after a rest I thought I’d be ok to walk back. Total was 2.5 miles and I’m suffering now.

Toby didn’t arrive to help in the garden today. Bathroom Chris hopes to come tomorrow but the baby has a rash to can’t go to nursery. I’m longing for it to be finished. (The daughters love it as does Ella. No comment from the boys).

It’s a lovely sunny day though there’s a cool breeze. The Whitley Bay boys are in a tennis club this week. They have worked out a route so that they can cycle there.
