Sculpture Park

This morning I was at Caol Ruadh in Colintraive  to interview Karen Scotland about the Sculpture Park she founded in the grounds of her home  back in 2012 and which opens again on the 2nd of May.   The interview is for the local podcast that I do with my neighbour "Across the Loch", Kirsty McLuckie , which will have its eleventh episode  released for download at some stage in the next ten days.

I have blipped the sculpture park several times before, and after recording the interview I got the chance to see some of this year's exhibits including the amazing Chess  Set   by Helen Denerley  (which is in the boathouse)  and Louise McVeiy's "Snakes" on what is called Pulpit Rock - this being the year of the snake.

I didnt know until I looked her up that Helen Denerley was responsible for the metallic giraffes on Leith Walk , which I have also blipped and in very memorable, but different,  circumstances !

My extra photos have a picture of that installation as well as another view of the chess board..
