Bountiful Bluebells

I headed for my usual bluebell spot near Ashridge (not Dockey Wood) where there was likely to be a plentiful supply!  A carpet of blue and good light - the only other variable in this was the camera operator!!  I spent a very happy hour or so in various uncomfortable positions trying to get the best out of the annual 'opportunity'.  Rather than just going for straight shots, I used ICM, macro and also my Lensbaby Velvet 85.  One image was not sufficient - so it's a composite!

I do this every year - always hoping to get the 'definitive' shot!  What is it about these flowers that has this magnetic effect?
