Close encounters

I managed to get up early to ride into town for today's conference, fortifying myself with a Lemsip to try to keep my cold at bay long enough. I took the Africa Twin although I kind of wished I'd cycled because it turned into a lovely mild day.

Three long sessions and at least 15 speakers, plus a good bit of networking. I had quite a long chat with a guy from Stockport, and my very modest knowledge of the Manchester music scene came in handy! At lunchtime we all had a good tuck-in. By mid-afternoon though I think everyone was getting tired, including me. I had a good ride home though, in not too busy traffic, going the long way just because I could.
