Skulking around and up to no good!

Last week there were seven wee ducklings. Today, when I saw the heron I feared the worst when I couldn't see any ducklings at all. When I got round the back of the island I spotted mum and her remaining two ducklings. Mr Heron has been just too greedy.

A beautiful day, sunny and warm. When came home after walking Hollie I could see that my gardening boys had been and the grass cut and flower beds tidied. They don't do dead heading or weeding .... those are my tasks. Thankfully they will cut back and tidy up my hedge, pear tree, pyracantha and anything else that needs a saw.
