Last of the narcissi

This will be the last daffodil blip of the season. These are the Tain garden daffodils, transplanted to the dining room table in Edinburgh. A profusion of colour and varieties of narcissi.

It was a Tuesday which felt like a Monday. Like Mondays, it had to be survived. I spent the morning at the RSE and then the afternoon at the university, including one always tricky in person meeting which never has an agenda and often seems to cover the same ground, time after time.

I managed to leave some post in the cafe area when I stopped off there for an event. As I was walking up Bangor Road from the bus stop, I remembered I hadn't picked it up, and I was worried as it had confidential material in there. Consequently, when I got home I had to get the car out and head into the office and find the post and put it in my office. Luckily, it was still there when I got back to the office. As a result of this extra activity, I feel even more bush-whacked this evening than normal.
