Great Blue Heron

I passed up Lake Union Dry-dock photos today when I saw this Heron standing patiently among the floating logs close to our floating home community. Nice reflection on the water. I have also seen one perched on a floatplane wingtip down at Seattle Seaplanes. The beak is strong enough to pierce a 2x4, as we learned in the Gulf Islands. Be careful. NannaK (HCB)
