Retro

Busy day at work and then home by 5.30, a quick pack of the car, and heading south. To Tekapo, for the weekend, with friends.

Arrive around 8.30 and immediately a slight hiccup developed. There was no key as detailed by the rental company. Several phone calsl later and around 30 minutes and we finally secured one. Just as well, 5 adults and 4 kids would be a bit tricky to sleep in the cars ;-)

And the house, the “Wood Crew” cottage. Seventies, straight from it. No shag pile carpet, but every other retro item you could image, Formica tables, deer on the wall etc.

Wow. So kitsch it was almost cool!

Skiing tomorrow weather permitting.
