Arrival

A train returning from Nant Gwernol arrives at Abergynolwyn this afternoon.   If we, in the cafe, were hoping for hoards of customers disappointment awaits!   Another quiet day, the Easter crowds, such as they were, have largely gone home.   My turn to work through today, someone else left early but it was no hardship on such a quiet day.   

I had awoken with a sore throat and a bad headache, something I later found I had in common with a couple of others from singing last night.   We think that the fumes from some decorating being done in our meeting room was likely responsible.   Thankfully the symptoms eased during the day, only one dose on paracetamol required.  Good friend M came in and walked the dogs round the block while I was at work, I took them a bit further after tea.  A lovely peaceful spring evening, not cold.   Tonight I have some pottery to fettle before an early night .... if I don't get too engrossed in the clay!
