rape field

I went to photograph in a rape field this afternoon. There were a couple of pheasants further up the field that disappeared into the rape as I approached. I then heard what sounded like gunshot in the distance. Thinking they could be escaping from a shoot I turned back but hen heard a helicopter circling overhead and although it was nothing to do with me it did make me feel like I was a 'Hunted' contestant on the run!  Think I'll avoid that field in the future.
