I'm totally obsessed with this process....having a lot of fun and learning more and more each time i do it.

Colder today, so had to put on the wood stove, pretty cozy then!

Just finished an amazing book: The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon.  set in the mid 1700's....about a wonderful midwife, Martha Ballard.  she was a real midwife...but this isn't a totally historical depiction, it is fiction and so well written...highly recommend.
