The Old Barn

This is a sight along one of our regular walks. The barn always looked old, but it also seemed to be in fairly reasonable condition until autumn 2023. Sometime in the following winter most of it collapsed. I guess there was a combination of a hidden weak point and the huge amount of snow that winter.
Last summer someone took the roofing sheeting away so it now looks even more of a ruin. We know the owner and she is hoping to save the part that is still standing. Others have advised her to just knock the whole thing down.
We shall see...
