St Jordi!
Many of you will know that this is the day, here in Barcelona, when books and roses are exchanged to celebrate the rose of the patron saint of England/Catalonia and the accomplishments of Shakespeare and Cervantes.
We eventually liberated ourselves from our work and household obligations to venture out and catch the tail end of the celebrations (not a public holiday, but as if).
NOW, if qr8dave was still a regular commentator he would have noticed that this shot is effective in the way the main repeated yellow colour gives structure to the whole and that the subordinate red colours fall in to support the whole. He trained my design eye and maybe we could share more, for mutual benefit, our photographic eyes in commenting, alongside our empathetic support for each other.
I, for one, would welcome your eye-sharing, for sure! And while he had a sophisticated eye for things given his artistic background, the view of the everyday blipper can be equally insightful and developmental! So, please share, if you like!
And, if this is not your cup of tea, your other comments will be cherished, as always.
