We took the cable car 12000 feet up Mount Teide.

Wisely, we left Florence at the hotel as altitude doesn't agree with some. We saw one particular man struggling to walk and later, a young woman collapse. 

A day of contrasts; snow and coats at the top and sunbathing at base.
