Memorial Park.

Usual trip to the market.
Then after breakfast we had a walk to the pond.
The water is going down because of the dry weather.
One Canada goose still sitting quietly on the nest. Hardly visible now the grass ,nettles etc have grown up.
Unfortunately only saw one moorhen. No sign of the little one or mum. Hopefully they were hiding somewhere.
7 mallards. All male except one female. No sign of ducklings.

We did spot several orange tip butterflies on our walk but no chance of a photo.
Saw the first hawthorn blossom. ( see extra)
It was warm with some sunshine and no need of a coat. 
The Memorial Park was looking lovely so that is my blip for today.
First time on the new iPad.  Just realised we had had the old one 10 years. Has certainly served us well.
