Cowslips (WFW25_03)

Seen in the churchyard this afternoon - they are growing in one of the 'rewilding' areas.  As we have started cutting the grass again, there will be a need to liaise with the EcoChurch people to decide on which areas we will mow and which we will leave. 

In previous years Tony and I have just decided for ourselves which other areas look to be growing wildflowers and just leaving them to get on with it. I don't know if this contributed to the silver award St Peters currently has - but it sort of works :-)   There are now four of us volunteering to cut the grass so something more formal probably needs setting up.

A good session cutting this morning after we had found and removed a stone which was stopping the cutters from moving.
