Berberis

Today's the day ........................ to fly the flag

We had a visit from some friends yesterday and spent a lovely evening catching up with all the things that they'd been doing since we last met.  

In fact, we'd never actually met Gina - and it had been almost fifty years since we'd last seen Richard, so there was a great deal to catch up on.  They had spent a large part of their working lives living in Sweden and then Denmark.  Their three children had grown up in Sweden - and still live there now.

So that gave us the perfect excuse to fly the Swedish flag as above.  Blue and yellow flags always look good against a blue sky, I always think - and the dark red and yellow of the berberis looked pretty good too ...................!
