Wet day in Windermere....so we found our way up into the library to keep dry and stumbled across the "Windermere Boys : From Auchwitz to Ambleside Exhibition"....someone with a camera in 1945 did a really good job of recording the 300 children who survived the concentration camps and were flown to The Lakes to embark on a new life.
