Cutting the Hay

Auld Claes and salt porridge. After the Shows it's back to the norm. Took friends to the airport and they flew back to the Granite City. Got a few messages in Kirkwall.

Bit of a showery day. Surprised to arrive home and find Neil cutting the hay. Going to lift some tatties tomorrow. Too wet today. A friend phoned this evening to say what a bonny day they'd had on Hoy. At times we couldn't even see Hoy today.

Away to the dancing again tonight. Before leaving I have to make up the set dance list for next Sunday evening.
