Afternoon tea at RHS Wisley

A wonderful day - even the M25/A3 junction was relatively kind.  I had an afternoon tea voucher for my birthday last year and realised that it needed using, so arranged to meet my friend.  We try to meet there 3-4 time a year as it is half way between where she lives in Portsmouth and us in Hertfordshire, but have been put off by the roadworks in the last year or so.  We decided that tea in the posh eatery would make the M25 queue worth while. We both arrived before the garden opened, but the external coffee shop opens an hour earlier, so we started our catch up there with our first drink break. We finally left to go home just before the garden closed at 6pm!  A wonderful day and the tea was good too!  
The extras show some of the flowers (spot the Clivias) and also some of the amazing structures on the alloments and the veg garden there.  Nicely timed as I'm going on a willow obelisk course with D1 on Sunday.  So hoping to apply some of that to creating my own structures on the allotment later.
PS I only bought 4 plant, one from the rescue section and one book for the grandson.  Very restrained.  :-)
