Chocolate and Flowers!

Two wonderful surprises in five minutes this morning.  The Postie knocked with chocolate delights from daughter Pinkdragen, thank you J xx. Followed closely by the flower folks with this lovely bouquet from British Orienteering, such kind thoughts even more welcome at the moment as I nurse my knee.

I promise to call a halt to knee reports soon but recording progress here helps me to keep in touch with medical stuff.  So, visit to Doc #3 this morning, all supportive but Dr B today was the first to get to grips with my knee, asking me to do various movements, stand on one leg etc.  Her verdict is that I have soft tissue injury on top of the osteoarthritis so:  keep applying the gel twice a day to relieve the swelling; keep doing 'normal' activities but no long walks or strenuous activity; urgent referral to physio (she stressed that her urgent may not be their urgent!); another x ray which may or may not result in referral to specialist depending on outcome.  Thank you everyone for your concern this week, don't feel the need to keep commenting on my knee issues!
