New Daisy On The Block
I woke early at sunrise and stepped outside to see if I could hear any Anzac Day sounds. In the distance I could hear the very moving sounds of a bugle playing The Last Post which brought me to tears.
Then watched the Gallipoli Service as well which the ABC was broadcasting and that was also very moving.
I then caught the Melbourne Service at the Shrine of Remembrance where 50,000 people attended. Below is a quote from the news:
“But the solemn mood of the event was broken during a Welcome to Country address given by Gunditjmara man Uncle Mark Brown, when members of the crowd began to jeer and heckle”
Terrible to see this happening on such a day, it was apparently just a small group of people, and a man known to police to be a neo nazi was arrested!

Spent the rest of the morning in the garden which soothed me a little and my lovely daisies brightened up the day. Julian arrived after lunch and is staying over tonight and we’re meeting up with my niece in the city for lunch tomorrow.
My mystery blip of yesterday was a couple of sticky notepads and a colourful lanyard on the top. Nothing really special except for the colours which made a nice blip! : ) The extra was three little gum blossom caps which the camera wouldn’t focus on and kept focussing on the wall behind, very abstract!!
Probably wont catch up with you all until Sunday, happy weekend to you all!! Xxxx
