My First Bird Capture

Beep, beep, beep, beep .... (our alarm goes off)

Hubby ... Good Morning
Me ... Hi
Hubby ... Have you got anything booked for today?
Me ... Nothing important, why?
Hubby ... How about I take the day off work?

I sat up in bed immediately,

Me ... It's Monday
Hubby ... I know!

and that's how our day started. We left the house early and drove to Brighton and had breakfast on the front esplanade in the glorious morning sunshine.

Camera in hand I started snapping away and then decided I was going to attempt my first ever bird capture. OK, I know seagulls are huge birds, but we've all got to start somewhere. After a few hiccups i.e. bird totally out of picture, bird blurred or missing parts of it's anatomy, I started to get the hang of it. Then, one after the other, I started to get some reasonable captures. I think I'll be trying out birds again in the very near future.
