These Allium siculum are just breaking free today. They are also known as the Sicilian honey lily, a European and Turkish species, native to the regions around the Mediterranean and Black Seas. But I have them in my garden too!

They are wonderful when in bud like this. In extra is a photo of a stem which will take another day or two for the buds to break out.
