What's the time?!
Dandelion clock..
What's the time?? One o'clock says
Ben. Thirteen Big Puffs!
Ben and Mum day, I really try not to venture too far with him on my own now, so it's a bit of a challenge to fill the days and keep him entertained. This was a quick loop around the block to let the dog out. Leo was doing his business and Ben found a dandelion to blow on. It amused me that he said it was one o'clock, as though he'd done it in one big blow but it was actually that he got to twelve and carried on! And then we had a fun conversation about how it was really 9:40am and that these clocks are pretty unreliable!
Other than that, we did some stencilling and had some fun with some spray pens that you blow through, we made cookie bars and fish pie and did a crossword. We also tamed a rose that had started dangling on my head when I get in the car, paid a bill and chased up the carers plan for next week. I also applied online for a blue badge for Ben. I'm not sure we'll get it but he has recently been awarded PIP and our council says if you have over 10 points in the 'planning a journey' section of mobility they will consider it. It would certainly help us to be able to extract him quickly from situations when he's become overwhelmed and reduce the times he goes into crisis due to transitioning issues. We'll see. And on a positive note, compared to the PIP form.. the blue badge form was a breeze!
Right, checking out for Friday night now I think. If I'm not mistaken it's now Beer o'clock.. according to the dandelion clock anyway!
