Acis autumnalis the autumn snowflake. Flowering as rains cool the summer dry soil, this is the first of the autumn bulbs to appear this year. Formerly known as Leucojum autumnale the delicate bells mimic the snowdrops. The seeds form quickly after the flowers fade and when happy it can build up into a nice clump ..... time will tell how mine are doing.
