Visiting
Up early with D for a change, as I was going with him for my first Inchcolm sleepover of the year. So good to be back there. First extra is The Vital Spark the Conserver, which brought us to the island. It was a beautiful day, though not particularly warm with a nippy little wind from the east. I don't think the little visitor in the blip was tempted to go into the water.
I was able to take a walk round to the Minor Light (second extra) without being attacked from the air. Gulls still choosing nesting sites and arguing with each other. I came over the ridge on the way back and through the WWI ammunition tunnel and a gull got very annoyed and started swooping on me (kept my eyes on the ground but could see his shadow). There's a nice bunch of wallflowers decorating the tunnel entrance (3rd extra).
Had a very quiet evening, apart from the chorus of oystercatchers, eiders, gulls etc.
