A Host Of Golden...

.......dandelions.

On our morning walk we pass through this glorious wild flower meadow. It is a private field with permissive access to follow a public footpath. The owners are very good as long as people respect their property, and privacy. Later this meadow will be knee high in a variety of natural wildflowers, with all attendant insect life including butterflies, bees and other pollinators.

It's fab, and a delight to meander through on a day like today.

15 degrees, cloudy and cool breeze.  But utterly wonderful to be alive.

Later there was wine and birdsong, a very agreeable day/evening/drinks/soundtrack.
