Just in Time

After posting yesterday's bee on my pittosporum tree, I realised that I have not blipped the flowers this year.  The petals are about to fall so I have managed to catch some just in time.

The tree, over 25 feet tall, is an over 30 year-old Pittosporum tenuifolium, 'Silver Queen'.  This variety only produces female flowers and with no males in the neighbourhood, it takes a determined bee (or hoverfly) to bring some fertile pollen in.  Therefore, it has only produced a very few seedpods on only four or five occasions.  The last time was two years ago.  I don't think I've ever blipped those, so maybe next time it happens.
