King's Day Celebrations
It's sad to say that the King's Day celebrations in Driebruggen were a bit on the dull side. There was things going on, but Little Man and I didn't find them all that entertaining. There weren't any age appropriate games for Little Man beyond the bouncy castles, which he didn't want to go on. So we went home, then went back for the market. I was able to pick up some more clothes for my boy as he's getting to the point where he can wear clothes for 4-5 year olds. Most of his clothes are for 3-4 year olds, and he still fits them, just. I need to work through his drawers but I'm going to do that after the holidays. Little Man loves playing with the laundry so it makes it rather challenging getting it done when he's around (so I tend to do it when he's at nursery). I did pick up a new toy for him as well.
We were invited round to one of our neighbours for coffee and cake, which was lovely! Little Man really enjoyed playing with the garden toys. We came home, had dinner and I thought I'd post this self portrait before I get Little Man ready for bed.
Thankfully the weather has been lovely today, so we didn't need to wear thick jackets or anything.
