Garden time

I wanted to be around the house because NoaNoa was leaving for university today. So I hovered around him, giving him space to sort out his stuff and set about some gardening tasks. Planted a load from yesterday’s shopping spree. Pulled up loads and loads of weeds and rambling brambles - I hate the stuff. So vicious. I always think of JimBob when I grab brambles with the best ever gloves - he gave a job lot to Elbows (back when he was in the industry) because Elbows wanted to give me some for a birthday many years ago. These that I use are la crème de la crème !

Physically exhausting though.

Also had a carpenter round to measure up and quote for building us a larder cupboard. We so need it and he’ll do an amazing job.

Also had some unexpected visitors - an Iranian couple who brought round some food for us as a welcome gift. Amazing. I’ve arranged to visit them next Tuesday morning. :-) :-)

NoaNoa went mid afternoon, getting a lift with another member of the band, up to Leeds as they have another gig there tomorrow night. His uni term starts Monday.

I was just getting used to having him around and he’s been so positive about the house :-x Love him!
