Cornflower

I have always been quite jealous of our neighbours cornflowers in their front garden so I was very happy when I noticed that one had self set in our border this year. I think it is the most intricate and elegant of flowers.

It's difficult to do it justice so I used a focus stack to capture the head in more detail, using 20 separate frames. It was combined in Helicon Focus and just needed a bit of tidying up before posting.
