Jazz

Finally met up with Jazzdrummer - turns out we work together. How amazing is THAT? We went out with the intention of photographing Latchford Railway Viaduct - a derelict bridge spanning the Manchester Ship Canal but we also spent time photographing other derelict sites along the canal.

This is Jazzdrummer photographing a pipe bridge which goes over the River Mersey to carry silt from the Canal to 'The Eyes' - large sand lagoons where the dredgings from the canal were pumped.

All-in-all it was a good day out. We are thinking of repeating it in the winter when there's less greenery
