A feather lost from it's host - I think it's a pigeon feather - they're very beautiful seen up close, this is a downy feather, so on their underbelly to keep them warm & especially if they're female, they keep the eggs warm on the nest.

Out all day today, so I was hoping to get at least a bird when we got home, instead I got part of a bird :)
