Afternoon walk. 20C.

We went to church this morning and after Sunday lunch we had our usual walk, me with my one crutch yet. Glorious sunshine and blue sky with one or two wispy white clouds.
The light was so beautifully sharp enhancing all the fresh various greens of the newly opened foliage on the trees.
A stop at the Farmhouse Bistro to sit outside on the surrounding grassy area, which has picnic tables with wooden benches, and one or two small bistro tables with chairs. I had a Fentiman’s lemonade and we each enjoyed a tub of ice cream, and the long view down the field to a line of trees beyond.
This time we completed the walk by going back to the car through the Moor Hall Estate the way we had come. It makes it a longer circuit but I felt ready for it.
Now sitting here in the summerhouse with a coffee and my book.
Stephen is sitting at the patio table having erected the umbrella after lunch, reading his book “Orbital” which I know several other blippers have read.
I’m still just leaving stars on blips. But do enjoy looking!
