A week catching up

It's been a week of catching up with missed exhibitions, since coming back from the Isle of Wight. 

Today it was a visit to the Tate Britain. I was taken as a guest to the Photographing Britain in the '80's exhibition. 

I thought it was enjoyable and interesting. Yes there was a lot of doom and series of various riots (Poll tax; miners strike; Brixton; Toxteth: Birmingham) and the AIDS epidemic. But it was a reminder of how many social upheavals were going on at that time.
