Summer day in Autumn

The weather remains confused - we have had another hot day today. This photo is another view from my favourite walk along Periwinkle Lane.
Church this morning and then our Estate Agent phoned to say she had a person keen to view the property. What a rush to get the house looking tidy - I had boxes and packets to be taken to the charity shops in my bedroom and in the cottage after my big sorting session yesterday! So everything was hastily put back into cupboards and drawers. Then the client phoned to say they had car trouble and wouldn't be coming!!  The annoying thing is that we were supposed to go to a concert this afternoon but put it off because of a prospective sale!  I guess we'll have to get used to this sort of thing. It's a long process opening up all the doors in the house, studio and cottage and a hasty sweep around the house (it is the weekend after all!!)
A walk cleared my head!  Daughter S is coming up from Plettenberg Bay tomorrow for the day to help hubby with some sorting in his studio, and we will take her to see the unit we have bought at Summer Dunes Retirement complex.
An early night is called for....
