Breathe

It's been a very easy few weeks and we now have a fabulous new kitchen. It has taken up a lot of head space, but it's been very exciting.

The dust has been kept to a minimum, and the fitters were really tidy. However, there is still a layer of dust on everything. After a good Spring Clean, I took myself off to my favourite place. I sat with my Merlin bird app open and tuned into the birdsong. I buried my hands in the soil and breathed deep. A special moment.

I dont know which milestone this is, and I don't know how many years I've been blipping because it's way more than the milestone suggests. My children were in primary school, and now they are both fledged and have set up their own nests.
