Signs

I had to be up and out reasonably early today to catch a bus to Edinburgh, then a train to Leuchars. A friend picked me up at Leuchars Station, and we drove to St Andrew’s.

Having been cold all week, I wore my winter coat today, just to be on the safe side. I’m glad I did. First stop was the Farm Shop, where a few purchases were made. We then wandered, looked in a few shops, had lovely fish and chips for lunch, and wandered a bit more. I bought a few treats in Fisher and Donaldson, and almost purchased a nice jumper in another shop, but I resisted. We had a lively catch up, but before We knew it, I was being dropped off at the station and I was in my way home. Thankfully I didn’t have too long to wait for a bus.

When I got in, I tripped over BB’s bag. However the door had been locked and I couldn’t find him. I messaged him to find out where he was. He eventually replied to say that he was at the rugby dinner, which I thought was tomorrow. I then found the ironing board and the iron, still plugged in, and on!

TT and I had a quiet evening, and hoped that BB wouldn’t wake us up when he returned home.

I spotted these signs in a shop. I love the East Neuk. St Andrew’s was a regular holiday spot when I was young. More recently Crail has been a regular holiday spot. The sign at the bottom right is for Craigton Park, where we went for Sunday School picnics about a hundred years ago!! :-)
