the finish

Today I went for my long slow run via the scene of Saturday parkrun. It is always a slightly surreal experience running in the park outside of 'parkrun day', but it felt quite peaceful, especially knowing the course really well.

What was odd is that I couldn't avoid speeding up coming to this section , which is the finish line and finish tunnel. Perhaps it was the memory of a personal best last Saturday that did it!
