The Black Isle

The Black Isle is a sharp contrast to the hard rocky mountainous west. Fertile rolling fields of barley here and livestock enjoying a life style that could only be dreamed about by farmers in the west.

It doesn’t rain so much here either.

In order to try and get the best light for a photo in this quiet field corner I left the camera on a repeating timer while I got on with my work. On my return I was horrified to see a tractor circling around the tripod and loading the bales on to a huge trailer.
